Rewind is a free Chrome extension built to help you revisit saved links without creating an account or sending your bookmark library to Rewind.
Usage of your information
I will not use or share your information with anyone. The extension sends individual requests for displayed bookmark URLs to these services:
- https://www.robothumb.com to display thumbnails for your bookmarks
- https://allorigins.win to request bookmark preview images from Open Graph metadata
They are obligated not to disclose or use this information for any other purpose.
I pledge to replace these services with open source solutions in the future.
The website uses locally bundled fonts. The extension does not require a Rewind account.
I do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under or over 13.
Storage of your information
The extension does not rely on cookies, and I do not use any analytics app or service.
I use your browser's storage to keep a list of the bookmarks you want to hide. Bookmark data and hidden-link lists are retained on your device and are not collected by me.
Third-party links
This Service displays the links you have saved to your bookmarks. If you click a third-party link, you will be directed to that site.
External sites are not operated by me. I strongly advise you to review their Privacy Policy. I have no control over and assume no responsibility for third-party content, policies, or practices.
Security of your information
No method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, so I cannot guarantee absolute security.
